Maybe its about time I updated my blog :) as its been a month or so atleast!

So in the last month so much has happened my baby has turned 1, my big lad is 5 and were having another baby in Feb! Auntie Sue bought him/her some teeny hats today their 1st present :) God that girl is my bestie and I love her to bits!

We have been out for a lovely meal tonight for Ians birthday with some fab friends and Granny Joan made me a lovely lil keepsake book...she is 1 tatented (but very short) lady!

I have had no time to craft at all with my baby walking and being into everything, he is an absaloute terror at th moment, yes hes soooo cute but sometimes I just wish he would calm down and not try and eat everything an pull all the dvds off the tv stand!

Well I will try and update a bit more often and keep u all informed of how baby craggs no3 is coming along!

So I was asked at short notice if I could do 2 cards 1 for a birthday and another for a 40th wedding anni...usually I would have time to think about these but with minimal time, mr C at work, a poorly Harry and Thomas sat goin mam can I have this, mam can I have that I came up with 2 very quick and simple cards.

I used my lovely new butterfly diecut and spellbinders for this...as usual I couldnt make a card without my trusty splodgeAway mat and inks so I inked up my sentiment with the limited addition distress spring inks!





For some reason this photo wont upload the right way! This was done with my nesties and some gems to do my 40s and of course I had to do some splodging this time I kept my nestie on and splodged around it giving it a different effect! I cant wait to see Tom on create and craft on Thursday, I know the DT have been so busy helping and I just have to appologise that I havnt been around much to help so sorry girlies!

random update

Well guys Im back from sunny Spain by what a busy weekend but so much fun! :) Its nice to be home tho theres only so long u can stay in a room with no air con!

Im hoping that I get to craft whilst Mr C is off work as we have a poorly babba again so hes not sleeping, which means Im up all hours with him while Ians at work!

Thomas has lost his 1st tooth so we are eagily awaiting the toothfairy to arrive, only problem is I have no change so gona have to try and get it out me terrimundi...now theres a challenge!

Have just sat down 2 craft and realised that half my stuff is still in the car...Im not venturing out in this rain for 3 or 4 trips just to get it :( gutted I got a lovely quiet night and I cant craft! I would also like to show you how very talented my mother In Law is she has made a gothic guest book and its absaloutly gorgeous! Hope you all like it x

So after a busy few days/week Im planning on getting some cards done tonight...boys depending! They seem to be a nightmare going to bed at the moment :( with Ian working nights aswel Im doing it all myself and its starting to get hard! Every time I think Harrys asleep I go up and there he is out of his sleeping bag stood up at the side of his cot...and of course Thomas has to be involved and winds him up! Starting to get worn down by the pair of them now

SplodgeAway project week 4

This week we were given a brand new mask to play with coggs and balloon. This really isnt something I would usually use so I found it really challenging, but after many attempts and strops I finally came up with my card. I really like it and again loved distressing as always. my babies growing up

As if my gorgoeus Harry has decided that he wants to now walk, its been major fun and games around the Craggs house as we follow him round and sit behind him constantly...I think he thinks that he is older than he is and can follow his big bro around the house! Thomas however needs to realise that he is still very unsteady and needs to stop diving on the poor baby knocking him over all the time. But Im sure within a couple of weeks they will b playing nicely together...well I can hope anyway

SplodgeAway Week 3

SplodgeAway week 3 has seen some changes to the blog we are now posting 1 a day with full instrctions :)
So yesterday was my card I loved doing this 1 as I got to put all my spectrum noir training into practice and got to play with my distress Inks again...which as you can see from my past few cards Im loving :)

oopsie

Called into Suzicraft 2day to pick up my stuff for my next DT project and while I was there the delivery of Liquid Pearls came in. I sat and built the stand and arranged all the pearls in colour order...yes Im sad, minus the 10 bottles that I bought, well at £2.25 a bottle would be rude not to, it did take me a while as I would like them all but I think Mr C wouldn't b too happy if I had come home with them.

Heres what I came home with :) The limited addition Spring Inks were a must as was the cardmaking mag that had just arrived. This SplodgeAway DT is costing me a fortune...but Im loving all the challenges and products that Im getting to use for them.

Harry enjoyed eating biscuits and and trying to crawl around on the floor and even attempted to get under the table. It was lovely to see Freda it seems ages since Ive seen El Dimps tho...I miss her, but I will see everybody on Saturday night when we go for a meal and a few (did I say a few I mean lots and lots) of drinks afterwards. So glad my daddy has got the kiddiewinks on saturday night. Id b lost without that man I really would.

Well its week 2 of SplodgeAway and this weeks project was done using a SplodgeAway butterfly mask and following a card sketch from the fab Karen Wright.

I loved doing this card, its totally not me and well out of my comfort zone but I loved making it and was really happy with the result.
So heres week 2s card I used my trust SplodgeAway mat as always and distressed everything in sight...to say my hands were covered in ink is a bit of an understatement, I was like a child.

Week 1 of Splodge Away Design team and this is my card  its a double diamond card, made using my trusty Splodge Away mat, which I never leave the house without...my hubby has even invested in 1 for when he is crafting and his 1st attempt at blending was fantastic. The mat is a fab new product which every crafter should own. There are even Splodge Away papers which work hand in hand with the mat to make blending inks a breeze :)

Thomas, DCD and Therepy

Well guys after Thomas started Therepy on Thursday we had to go out and buy a min exercise trampoline for him to do his homework exercises everyday...which he thinks is fab and doesnt have 2 b asked 2 go on it. Im hoping that this will really help 2 see an improvement with him and the more work we do with him at home the better it will be for him in the long run!

Its gona b a hard challenge but if we all stick together as a family and work closely with treetops OT and the school then Thomas will face less challenges whilst growing up :)

I tried spinning the other day, my word what a silly idea that was I think Im broken :( xxx

Well been a busy few days for me so not been on the computer much, had a lovely day crafting last tuesday with my 2 gorgeous buddies sue and dimps on tuesday at my house we had a yummy tea and finally packed up around 7.30!

My baby boy starts his Occupational Therepy on Thursday and if Im honest Im scared and nervous but whateve they do will only help him not hinder him so its all good! He has alot of hurdles to overcome but we will b there backing him all the way!

I have some very exciting news wich all will b revield soon but im very excited and looking 4ward to what the future holds :)

Well I have finally managed 2 sit and do a few cards :) so here they are!

I have started to get back into stamping and am well into purple at the minute!












This is my fave 1, I have used me spectrums to colour, but Tom has asked if I will do some using Splodge away so that he can use them as examples on the website...so thats my mission!










This car one is made by my gorgeous hubby Ian, I am really impressed with it and it was so much fun to sit down and craft with him when the boys were in bed :)

So yet another tantrum from the boy this morning all because he forot to get a book out the car he wanted to take to school with him! Hes starting to wear me down now!

Harry and I called into Suzicraft 2day, there was a class on so spied a few peeps while we were there, didnt get 2 speak 2 them much as they were all busy crafting! I miss the classes but I cant take Harry with me hes getting too old 2 just come with me now :( and as much as I love going and doing the classes its not fair on him and for every1 else when he starts 2 get bored and cries!

I had a long catch up with one of my longest and bestest friends lastnight...we dont get to see eachotha as much as we should and its sad that were drifting apart! We are going out for a meal on friday night with the rest of the people who use 2 work with us...the last time we were all out was jan last year! So should be fun and Im looking 4ward 2 seeing every1 :)

1st day back at school 2day and god am I 1 happy mummy...not that it made a difference with playgroup this morning to then go straight out shopping to tesco, where mr craggs came with and as i was packing me shopping there seemed to be things coming through the checkout that i didnt remember putting in the trolley!

I actually sat and made a card lastnight and so did Ian it was really fun, but I need a few flowers to finish off my card :) and then I will post it on here! I have a car for my bro to do but hes such a pain i dont have a clue what to do...Im thinking I may purchase the chole stamp washingline and football kit and use that and can adapt it to different teams, easy peasy (so i say now)

So after a massive paddy fit from Thomas lastnite, where he told me he wanted a new mummy we are back to normal 2day...he has been very good and we have done paper mache and made some cakes, he is now playing on the disney junior website and is like a different kid again!

Its all so confusing cos I just want answers on his condition and whats him being a brat and what isnt, I know hes only 4 but is his understanding of his actions correct for his age or is this an area where hes not developed yet :(

AAAHHHHH Kids

Is it Monday yet? Im so ready for Thomas to go back to school, hes getting bored now and is starting to be really naughty! Harry on the other hand is getting his 2nd tooth through and is wingeing at everything possible!
Thomas is having a bad day 2day anyway with his dcd...I could tell when he was playing in the playarea at peter barrats and was falling over nothing and was just clumsy in general...cant wait for his OT report to come through so we can start his therepy and hopefully we can start to get somewhere and move forward! x

Im off for a catch up with an old school friend 2day and her gorgeous lil girl Alex Rae! Cant wait for a cuppa and a good old chin wag with her! xx

Lost Camera Lead

Well I was gona put up my pics 2day but the lead fairy has been and pinched my camera lead :( I have looked in all the usual places and found everything but...I must of stashed it somewhere when my sideboard came but the problems figuring out where!

I think I may sit and craft 2nite so if I do find my lead i will put pics of my cards on aswel :) x

Lightwater Valley

Lastnight as we sat and watched In Time with Sue and Tom we decided we would go out 2day, but where that was the dilemma, we had so many ideas and finally settled on Lightwater Valley, so we pre ordered our tickets...Thomas was the same price as us but for bookin online we saved £21 on the 3 of us (well worth the bargin) so at £16 each we were set and ready for the next day!
We were up early 2day ready for our trip...and arrived at 10am with a very excited 4 yr old and a sleepy 8 month old! From the moment we got in from when we left we loved every second of it! It was pretty quiet so could go on as many rides as we wanted with very little waiting :) Thomas is a mini adrenaline junkie and went on anything he was tall enough to go on and was very dissapointed he couldnt go on the ultimate or the upsidedown pirate ship! It made my day seeing him have such fun and spending the day with our bezzies :) We finished off our 7 hour day in the theme park by going for tea at la'legros in stockton it was yummy!!!
I will put pics up when I work out how and I have time!

Easter Weekend

Well guys been a few days and so much has happened we had a fab easter weekend, had 2 lamb dinners and a chicken dinner it was so much fun as we spent it with family and friends :)
Thomas has got a million eggs which keep shouting eat me...but im resisting temptation, although i am sacking off weight watchers 2morra because of my binge I have 2 reffrain from eating them all up, mainly for the fact that hes like a hawk and will notice if 1 goes!

We made Easter Nests and put eggs (dinosaur eggs according to thomas) and my babies dressed up as a chick and superman, very traditional I know but thats what he wanted 2 wear who am I to say no!

easter fun

Well here goes my 1st blog post!

Thomas and I are about to make Easter cookies...we have our dough ready chilling in the fridge and I have lots of nice goodies for him to decorate them with. I will put some pics on when we are done...and if i can work out how! xx

Here we are decorating our cookies...I had red food dye on my hand for 2 days :s but we had so much fun :) xx
